RUN, SHANE, RUN.

This is an interview with a guy in Matt's running class. In the original recording, there were quite a few "uh's," as well and several pauses that I edited out. Even though I edited them out, I tried to not only keep the breathing pattern sound natural, but I also tried to match up the small background noises.

Matt's Interview

I had the pleasure of interviewing Matt Ladesma about his future writing career. I wanted to keep the main points in and take the pauses (mine included) out.

I wanted to make her look like a princess so I cropped everything else out.

I wanted Randall to be the pimp, so i cropped the bodies out and made it seem like there were a lot of women around him.

This looks like an advertisement for beer so I tried to make it look like a photo from a magazine

Lauren is my friend and she is the main person in the photo, so I made her the star!

My main focal point was the piano, since i am a pianist. The people on the outside look like they're having a good time so I left them, as if to say music is fun (to me).

I decided to delete part of the beginning because some of the story was unnecessary. I wasn't particularly enthused by all the interviews so I cut one out and just edited the loud laughing guy toward the end of the recording.

This is a recording from a news program who heard of a surprising man. I thought it was interesting because it's something I've never heard before but I really liked it.

Storytelling With Ira Glass

Watching Ira Glass....

He had good information, but he talked fast and his voice became monotonous. Anywho...

I learned that you are supposed to answer questions during the storytelling to keep people interested.

I already knew that you have to make sure the story is in good taste depending on the audience.

It will improve my storytelling skills because I can use the tools to further develop my talents and I can also apply it to my music (songwriting).

Year for Change...

So....It's a new year.

I still feel like it is summer, and I've gotten closer to my friends.

Not only have I picked up some good habits, but I've become less attitudinal and more forgiving.

I've also become a frequent chef ;-) Only once in a while.
